+THE CHRONO WITH A PULSE
We are currently enjoying wearing and offering you guys some beautiful, quirky and cool chronos. This example bears the name ‘National Park’ on the dial, a name that our research indicates was used by Gallet for some of their watches – especially military chronographs. This mid-20th century watch’s dial has changed over the years to a tropical purple/blue shade that lends this it a cool vibe for the summer months. The pump pushers lend the watch a contemporary air and add to its presence on the wrist. The outer track is a not so often seen pulsation scale timer. The watch also benefits from a thirty-minute chronograph stopwatch alongside a running seconds sub-dial. The case is a steel alloy and there are some small areas of rubbing evident – in our minds, this adds to the patina and character of the watch! The watch has been fully checked by our watchmaker and will come on a steel straight endlink ‘beads of rice’ bracelet.
